Indigo Girls Greenville Concert reviews
Great venue with some kinks to iron out
The overall experience was memorable with all the amazing artists. Improvements should be made to better manage crowd control, particularly in the food truck and beer garden line placement. There were definitely a few bottle-necked areas between people waiting in lines and those trying to pass through. The second day went much smoother than the first.
I was traveling from Culver City. On the first day, I took an Uber there because I had never been on the train before; it cost me about $42 ($24 for the trip + $17 surge charge). On the way home Saturday, I took the train which was way easier and cheaper ($1.50). Sunday, I rented a hotel room a couple blocks away and valeted my car with the hotel. Both days traffic was relatively light, and exiting the freeway was not a hassle.
Tips:
- Study the area/map so you know where to enter and which streets will be closed.
- Eat prior to arriving to avoid long food truck lines.
- Arrive early (1-2 hours before anyone big comes on) for hassle-free access to beers and restrooms.
- Remember there will be lines and a bunch of people in a small area; knowing this will make your experience more enjoyable.
